OUR HISTORY

 ProfitLink Consulting was established in Massachusetts in 1999, as a provider of enterprise application integration services with a specialization in J.D. Edwards technology. Our J.D. Edwards expertise has allowed us the opportunity to assist some of the world's leading companies (e.g., Manpower Group, Symmons Industries, Tyco) and consulting firms (Accenture, Deloitte Consulting) in management, technology, and software applications.   


Leveraging the financial expertise of our Company's founders, as well as our long-term relationships with CPA firms, we expanded the ProfitLink service offerings by adding bookkeeping, accounting leadership and business system consulting services to emerging growth companies in early 2000. Headquartered in Massachusetts, ProfitLink Consulting is a full-service consulting firm with the expertise, resources, and commitment to service clients nationwide.

Jim lombardo

President

 Jim is the President of ProftLink Consulting. His work is focused on helping clients shift away from old operating paradigms by working smarter through the implementation of creative problem-solving techniques.  Jim's extensive experience in accounting and finance has given him the necessary skills to resolve a wide range of complex business issues for clients.   As the Controller / CFO for many of ProfitLink's small business and entrepreneurial clients, Jim has been instrumental in the development and growth of those companies.   He has established affiliations with many CPA firms, banks, and key networking groups, enabling ProftLink Consulting to build an alliance network for our clients. 


Jim brings a variety of operational experiences to ProftLink Consulting. He was Manager of Corporate Accounting at Keane, Inc. in Boston, MA; the Director of General Accounting at Sodexho Marriott Services in Waltham, MA; the Corporate Cash Manager at Bronner Slosberg Humphrey, in Boston, MA; and the Accounting Manager at Daka International, in Danvers, MA.   Jim is a graduate of Bentley College in Waltham, MA, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy.  He has also successfully passed all parts of the Uniform C.P.A. Exam, as well as the Certified Cash Manager Exam.
